Mittuniversitetet
Mittuniversitetet (Mid Sweden University, MIUN) was established in 2005 and is thereby the "youngest" university in Sweden. Its Department of Health Sciences carries out a broad spectrum of research approaches on the welfare of society's problems and potentials, where the quality of life, health and security are essential components. International collaborative projects include a multinational comparative project on distribution of work within couples and their wellbeing.
Tasks in SOPHIE
MIUN staff were involved in policy case studies from the Nordic countries, especially in the fields of gender, family life and labour market.

MIUN principal investigator for SOPHIE was Mikael Nordenmark. Other researchers were Stig Vinberg and Emma Hagqvist.
