SiTI - Higher Institute on Territorial Systems for Innovation

SiTI

SiTI (Higher Institute on Territorial Systems for Innovation) is a non-profit association set up in 2002 between the Politecnico of Turin and the Compagnia di San Paolo, to carry out research and training oriented towards innovation and socio-economic growth. Its activities are concentrated in the following sectors: Logistics and transport, Environmental heritage and urban renewal, Environmental protection.
Since June 2009 SiTI takes part to "Health in All Policies" project, funded by the Italian Health Ministry, developing topics related to transport and urban planning policies in Turin.

 

Tasks in SOPHIE

SiTI staff cooperated in the implementation of Work Package 4 (Built environment and housing policies in the local context). SiTI specifically dealed with urban planning topics and with the definition of a descriptive overview of the relationships between physical environment and inequalities regarding Italian case studies.

 

Staff

SITI principal investigator for SOPHIE was Matteo Tabasso. Other researchers were Giulia Melis and Giulia Marra.
